Next Boys & Girls Blitzes - Sunday 27th February 2022
Our boys and girls next blitz is on Sunday 27th February. Boys U11's and U13's will play at Lisnagarvey and the girls teams will play at Banbridge HC.
Boys Teams
The boys U11's and U13's will be playing once again at Lisnagarvy HC in Hillsborough.
The U11's will play five games against teams from Banbridge, Ballynahinch, South Antrim as well as Lisnagravey, with the U13's playing four games facing opposition from Banbridge, Armagh, South Antrim and Lisnagarvey.
Come along and support the teams. The U11's first match is at 12:15 and the U13's start a bit later in the afternoon at 14:48.

Girls Teams
The Girls U11 and U13 teams will be playing at Banbridge Hockey Club.
Both teams will face opposition from Lurgan, Portadown, Banbridge and Armagh.
The U11's will play from 10:45 to 11:45 and the U13's start at 12:15. Come along and cheer them on!!

Format:
Under 11 hockey, also known as Super Sixes, is played on a third of a full sized hockey pitch with teams having six players on the pitch at any one time. Matches last for twelve minutes with a three minute break in-between each game for team turnarounds.
Under 13 hockey, is known as Extreme Eights and is the final progression before the 11-a-side game. Extreme 8s is played on half of a full sized hockey pitch. Each match lasts for 15 minutes.
