On Friday night, 10th December, the club's darts team made short work of O'Hanlon's Bar from Whitecross to claim the Mark Trainer Perpetual Cup. They led from the start and the competition was over long before the end of the night.
Michael McCullough and Mervyn McKnight got the team off to a flying start by winning the opening two games. Although Brian Henning narrowly lost out in the next game, the match was wrapped up by wins for Robbie Little, Darren Heslip and Mark Watt.
In the remaining games, Raymond Yates was beaten by one, leaving Rodney McCann and Garry Dodds to pick up wins to make the final score 7-2 to the Hockey Club.
The team also need just one more win from their last two matches in the league, to make it a league and cup double.
