Pitch refurbishment underway

Work is well underway on the pitch refurbishment.
The contractors, Clive Richardson Ltd, moved their plant and equipment on-site on 2nd December to start the renovation of the club pitch on the Belfast Road.
Work has been progressing really well despite the severe storms in the last few weeks.
All the old sand and contaminants have been removed from the pitch and two sink holes underneath the surface are being fixed and cured this week. That just leaves the new sand to be spread. Weather permitting, we'll be back on a top class playing surface for the New Year.
A big thank-you to Banbridge High School for allowing the club to use their ground for all our home matches when the pitch was out of action.
