27 February 2022

Boys and Girls U11 & U13 teams do well in Ulster Hockey's Blitzes at Banbridge and Lisnagarvey on Sunday 27th February.

Girls Under 11s & Under 13s

It was the girls teams who started the day playing at Banbridge, with the Under 11s first up in the morning, followed by the Under 13s in the afternoon session.

In front of a large crowd at Havelock Park, the Under 11s put on a great display and finished up with two draws and three narrow defeats. They played some great hockey and chased every ball.

The Under 13s team had a fantastic afternoon in the late session. They came away from the blitz undefeated, with an incredible four wins, against some very strong opposition. The girls played really well as a team and showed what they could do, moving the ball quickly and accurately around the pitch.
