Juniors use their Noggins!

As a thank-you to all our Junior players who have attended coaching and training sessions throughout the season, the Executive Committee have rewarded everyone with a new club beanie with an important message!

The committee wanted to give everyone a gift that would mean something. So we've teamed up with Noggin Sport, a company created by two brothers dedicated to raising awareness of mental health in sport. They formed a Community Interest Company where all profits made go straight into supporting mental health awareness projects across the UK & Ireland.

We asked them to create a beanie in Newry Olympic club colours with our club badge and we think the result looks great! So as well as keeping heads and ears warm, we're asking everyone to think about mental health and feel free to talk about it.

Look out for Noggin beanies at other hockey, rugby, soccer and GAA clubs across the country.
