Ladies 2s lose by one goal to Owls
The Olympic Ladies 2s met Owls 4s under the floodlights at home on Friday 17th November, in horrendously wet and windy conditions.
The visitors won the toss and took the pass back to start the game.
During the first quarter Newry were quickly caught on the defence with Owls playing round the keeper to gain the lead.
Newry fought back well during the next three quarters, winning a total of ten corners, but due to the speed and excellent defence of the Owls side, Newry were unable to find an equaliser.
