Brianna has had a busy few months competing both for her school, Newry High and her athletics club, Newry AC.
She trains each Tuesday night at the St Colmans track in Newry and her hard work has paid off, winning a silver medal at the Ulster's and representing Newry High at the All Ireland schools U14, 800 M in Tullamore in early June.
She continued this good run of form on 11th June when competing for her club at the Antrim Forum in the Northern Ireland & Ulster Championships, where she grabbed top spot, in a close finish in the U14 800m, in a time of 2.28.
This result means a return trip to Tullamore, for the Irish National Championships in July, where she hopes to build on her previous experience there.
We all wish Brianna good luck for the National Championships!
