Youth Hockey fun on Saturday mornings

The new Club Youth Liaison Officer, Gareth Moffett, tells us what's been happening with the Juniors this season....

"We've been blown away by the attendance and engagement at mini hockey thus far this season. Our weekly numbers range from 50 to 70 kids and its fantastic to see friendships forming and skills being developed.

What I'm most pleased about is the progression shown. The young ones are moving up groups as their skills develop and the improvement from their hard work is noticeable.

This year we've introduced 'Player of the Week' certificates and a new complete beginners group with one to one coaching. So if your child has no experience of hockey, we're happy to help them on their journey.

For the remainder of the season I believe we'll see the numbers remain high and participation in tournaments increase. Follow us on social media for more info!"

Youth hockey is open to boys and girls aged from 5 to 14 years. Saturday morning sessions are from 10 to 11am.
