NOHC Golf Society 2024 Schedule Confirmed
After having to curtail the schedule in 2023 due to the disappointing weather, the NOHC Golfing Society committee are pleased to confirm that we have four outings planned for the 2024 season.
1st Outing – Sunday 21st April 2024 @ Balmoral Golf Club
Teeing off @9:30am
Approx Cost = £40 for golf and meal
2nd Outing – Sunday 23rd June 2024 @ Ballymac Golf Club
Teeing off @12pm
Approx Cost = £55 for golf and meal
3rd Outing - Saturday 17th August 2024 - Captain’s Day @ Killeen Castle Golf Club
Teeing off @1:30pm
Approx Cost = £90 for golf and meal
Captain's Day - bus to be confirmed
4th Outing – Sunday 15th September 2024 @ The Hilton, Templepatrick
Teeing off @12pm
Approx Cost = £57 for golf and meal
Please note as the Society Outings have been booked, the prices quoted above are 2023 prices and may be subject to change, but we will confirm all again closer to the time. Save the dates in the meantime!
Race to the Hilton 2024
We also plan to run a “Race to the Hilton” singles event this season.
The two best scores out of the first three outings, plus your score from the last outing at the Hilton Templepatrick will go towards determining who is the winner of the “Race to the Hilton” series for 2024.
We're really looking forward to the coming season, as the quality of the courses we are attending is improving year on year. We hope this helps continue to grow the success of the Golf Society we've achieved to date and adds to the enjoyment for everyone.
The golf society is open to all, new members are always welcome. Anyone who would like to join please email us for further information or feel free to contact any of the Golf Society Committee Members directly (Ian McNeill, Paul McCullough, Brian Lockhart, Kenny Cowan)
If not already a NOHC member, we ask that all golf society members become an Associate Member of Newry Olympic Hockey Club before our first outing, annual cost to be an Associate Member is £10.
Any existing hockey playing or non-playing NOHC members are automatically enrolled in the Golf Society.
